This research deals with generation of double curvature forms with a single module: an equilateral triangle. Keywords: dome, geodesic, engineering, invention, discovery, find out, geometry, cupola, coupole, network, strut, connector, node, hub, building, space, structure, architecture, triangle, equilateral, identical, double curvature, doubly curved surface form, Lobel, form, business, venture capital

Think of an application for Lobel Frames, other than architecture ? Let us know !

Harmony, the search for order

In certain cases it is wiser to be mad:
A few years ago, (or maybe more), I was contemplating with wonder the geodetic structures developed by R. B. Fuller, those that Americans familiarly call "Bucky". The immense span, the lightness and elegance exalted my sense of space. Good-bye to the tyrannical monotony of right angles; hello soaring and phenomenally exact curves, which elate the mind and convey plenitude.
Nevertheless, there is something wrong with this picture…all these struts and different hubs were a barrier to common use of these wonders. I was convinced that a standardized module could be imagined which was capable of generating diversified forms. Let's say, a magic module like only nature could produce. Isn't the entire universe constructed out of a few simple elements such as protons, neutrons and electrons which may someday be reduced to a single element, that which the great creator industrialized the fabrication!
Produce diversity from uniformity;
for me, this passionate objective has become an obsessive quest that occupies all my time.
We reach beauty by aiming with accuracy, and when it is truly accurate, it is also truly beautiful. What more could one ask for?
